The Big Chill Island House has opened its doors in North Myrtle Beach at Barefoot Landing, and I had the exclusive pleasure of attending their media night. At this gem of a restaurant, you’re in for an unparalleled dining experience that seamlessly blends ambiance and flavor. With indoor and outdoor seating that invites in the gentle breeze and a rooftop that offers a front-row seat to the evening’s serenade of colors, comfort is truly redefined. The restaurant doesn’t just stop there—it boasts three vibrant bars spread throughout, ensuring your glass remains as full as the expansive seating options. As you meander through this charming eatery, let your eyes feast on the custom artwork adorning the walls; it’s an art gallery and gourmet haven wrapped into one

My epicurean escapade included the zestful Leche de Tigre Ceviche, the sumptuous Island House Lobster Roll, a trio of mouthwatering Tres Empanadas, the uniquely crafted Island Hushpuppies, and the impeccably Grilled Tenderloin. Each dish was a masterpiece of its own, with the Ceviche offering a citrus-infused explosion of flavor and the Grilled Tenderloin melting in my mouth with its perfect char and tenderness. Amidst the vast ocean of gourmet offerings, these stood out, making a lasting impression on my palate and warranting the label AMAZING.

The back patio quickly emerged as my favorite spot to unwind. The harmonious blend of nature and modern amenities created an oasis of tranquility. Also, it overlooks the water and the boats passing by. I sipped my cocktail, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of contentment and relaxation. 

As the night drew to a close, I couldn’t help but express my heartfelt congratulations to the team behind this exceptional new venue. The attention to detail and dedication to creating an unforgettable experience were evident in every aspect of the establishment.
