📍 Indaco
Happy Hour: Monday to Friday from 5pm to 7pm
Deal: Includes select food menu and drinks.

Why it’s worth it:
Indaco has a “pizza of the week” that they feature on the happy hour menu. Happy Hour specials are at bar ONLY and first come first serve. Must be inside the restaurant to receive seating.


📍 Babas
Happy Hour: Monday to Thursday from 4pm to 6pm
Deal: Includes spritzs’, half off bottles of wine, tiny tinis ($5), buckets of beer

Apperitivo Hour

Deal: Friday and Saturday from 4pm-8 pm

A european inspired snack bar to graze with the purchase of any cocktail, wine, or beer.

Why locals love it:
They now have 3 locations spread out throughout downtown. They are known for their aperol spritzs’ and food items.

Why it’s worth it:
A good spot for the “aesthetic” or a cute girls night vibe.


📍 Red Palm Tavern
Happy Hour: Monday to Friday from 4pm to 7 pm
Deal: Includes select food menu and drinks.

Why it’s worth it:
All the locals over 25 know this is the spot to go for anything sports. Indoor and outdoor space also is a win for dog owners.


📍 Bourbon and Bubbles
Happy Hour: Monday to Friday from 5pm to 7pm
Deal: Includes select food menu and drinks.

Why it’s worth it:
A great excuse to dress up and start your night off with a classy start. Great location to king streets top nightlife bars.


📍 By The Way
Happy Hour: Monday to Friday from 5pm to 7pm

Why it’s worth it:
When drinks AND food are amazing, that’s hard to find in Charleston. Craft cocktails that are actually good and have a fair pour.

📍 Little Palm
Happy Hour: Monday to Friday from 5pm to 7pm

Why it’s worth it:
This spot has defintely became the IT spot for a girls night with the amazing coastal aesthetic while being indoor and outdoor.


📍 Bar Mash
Happy Hour: Monday to Friday from 5pm to 7pm

Why it’s worth it:
This location has an actual parking lot. They do seasonal pop-ups every year also.


📍 Ritual Rooftop
Happy Hour: Monday to Friday from 5pm to 7pm
Deal: Includes select food menu and drinks.

Why it’s worth it:
A great aesthetic spot if you want to sit inside or outside. They are also known for their espresso martini flights.


📍 Hotel Emeline/ The Den
Happy Hour: Monday to Friday from 5pm to 7pm
Deal: Includes select food menu and drinks.

Why it’s worth it:
Frannie and the Fox is one of my top favorites for a great spot to enjoy a glass of wine and an appetizer. The Den, located in the back of the restaurant, creates a more cozy cocktail experience and features an amazing happy hour. Hint, hint, the meatballs are a must.

📍 Rivayat
Happy Hour: Monday to Friday from 5pm to 7pm
Deal: Includes select food menu and drinks.

Why it’s worth it:
Charleston does not have many options when it comes to Indian cuisine, but this spot is the way to try out the classics while also getting a good deal. Features authentic drinks as well.

📍 Pink Cactus
Happy Hour: Monday to Saturday from 4pm to 7pm
Deal: Includes select food menu and drinks.

Why it’s worth it:
$5 dollar tacos, $5 queso, $3 salsa, and more! Locals love their queso and outdoor patio, making it dog-friendly!


Mount Pleasant Happy Hour Spots

📍 Savi
Happy Hour: daily, 7 days a week from 3pm-6pm
Deal: includes beverages and food.

An earlier happy hour means more people are able to grab their deals! All of their cocktails are part of the happy hour, and the separate food menu gives a good variety of options. Their meatballs, foccacia and Caesar salad are always my go-to order!


📍 Locals
Happy Hour: monday to friday from 4pm-6pm .
Deal: includes food and drinks

Why it’s worth it:
If you want to find where every single local goes on Mondays (including me) its here. Half off their sushi rolls (starts at 3 pm since it gets so busy). People rave about the freshness and quality of their rolls. Always check online for each location on what deals they have.


📍 Abbracci
Happy Hour: Wednesday to Thursday from 4pm to 6pm
Deal: Includes drinks

Why it’s worth it:
For those who live in North Mt Pleasant, this is one of the best locations for a nice dinner. One of my favorite appetizers was here and I have even learned to make it at home! A fan favorite is their gnocchi.

📍 Famularis
Happy Hour: Monday to Friday from 4pm to 7pm
Deal: Includes food and drinks (check the website for their daily deals)

Why it’s worth it:
Hands down, the best deals I have found so far on pizza. Mondays are free breadsticks with delivery orders and burgers under $7. Tuesday’s is one topping pizza for under $7. Saturdays are one-topping pizza for $10. Check online to see all their locations.


📍 SOL
Happy Hour: Monday to Friday from 4pm to 6pm
Deal: Includes select food menu and drinks.

Why it’s worth it:
Their most popular deal is Taco Tuesday, which offers FRESH juice margaritas for $7 and 3 for 10 tacos. This is my personal favorite for Mexican. The style of their cooking is very grilled and smoky giving it a ton of flavor. All their margaritas are FRESH. Yes, I had my friend, who is a margarita snob, come out, and she was obsessed.


📍 The Red Drum
Happy Hour: Monday to Friday from 4pm to 6pm
Deal: Includes select food and drinks.

Why it’s worth it:
Great location down the street from Shem Creek. They also have a parking lot but also a ton of parking around the building.


📍 Woodhaven Pizza
Happy Hour: Monday to Friday from 4 pm to 6 pm
Deal: Includes select food menu and drinks from the bar only.

Why it’s worth it:
All food items on happy hour are under $7. I have several friends who think this spot is their favorite for pizza in Mt Pleasant.


Tips for Finding the Best Happy Hour in Charleston

Arrive early.
Seats fill fast.

Weekdays are best.
Especially Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Always ask if happy hour applies at the bar only.
Some spots do.
